Rainbow Country HERCULES Sports Jacket in Light Brown Shinki Hikaku Horsehide [2026 Pre-Order]

An incredible sports jacket from Rainbow Country’s California Mfg label.

**Note, I only have placeholder images for the Light Brown Horsehide at this time. The round insert stating “Light Brown” is taken from a sample confirmed by Rainbow Country. Please note some variation in tone is possible from batch to batch. Other images are of the Tobacco Brown just for reference to design and features**

Design: Based on 1930’s Hercules jacket produced by Sears. “Batwing” scalloped back design with half belt and connecting double stitched pattern. Side adjustment buckles at hem. Two handwarmer pockets, one zipped chest pocket, one interior slash pocket.

Leather: 1.3mm / 3.25oz vegetable tanned horsehide. Light brown base with light brown aniline finish. It has a ton of texture and brightness of color right out of the box. Will develop beautifully as the surface brown dye wears away to show the lighter brown core, and areas darken with wear and exposure.

Lining: Custom Melton wool through body. Plaid cotton flannel in sleeves.

Hardware: Branded Talon zips for chest and sleeve. Ball and chain Talon for the chest. Custom nut buttons at cuffs.

Fit: A slim, comfortable jacket. Typically take your standard size. Del is 5’9″ 175 pounds with just over a 40″ chest. He wears a standard US size 40 in most jackets. He wears a size 40 in the Hercules. If you’re between sizes or want room for heavy layers, I recommend sizing up.
