A classic Type III denim trucker jacket style built in Horween’s Chromexcel Horsehide.

Design: The well-known Type III denim trucker jacket style. Central closure via snaps. Two large chest flap pockets with snap closure. One internal slit pocket. Snap-adjustable tabs at back bottom hem. Snap closure at cuffs.

Leather: Approx 1.2mm / 3oz combination chrome & veg tanned horse front quarters. We requested hides towards the lighter 3oz end of Chromexcel Horsehide’s range for these, to better accommodate the jacket’s trim fit. Aniline dyed on the surface, with a lighter brown “tea core.” Infused with a special blend of fats and oils. This hide is known for excellent grain development, lustrous depth, and smooth texture. It will age beautifully and show the lighter brown core in high wear areas. Note that there may be light marks from the tanning or manufacturing process. These are to be expected and are part of the natural beauty of combination tanned leathers.

Lining: Black, Red, and Gray Stripe Sevenberry 5.37oz Cotton in the body, Vanson standard black rayon in the sleeves.

Hardware: Heavy duty brass snaps with black caps.

Fit: A trim, comfortable jacket. For standard fit, take your usual size. Del is 5’9″ 175 pounds with just over a 40″ chest. He wears a standard US size 40 in most jackets. He wears a size 40 in the Maverick. If you want room for heavy layers, size up. The size chart provided below is for reference. Some variation from the stated measurements is expected given the nature of handmaking a garment from robust materials.
