Description

An elevated shawl-collar Cossack jacket from Rainbow Country’s California Mfg label.

Design: based on 1930’s work jackets which evolved from early military A1 styles. Button front. Side adjustment buckles at bottom hem. Two front button-closure pockets, two interior slash pockets.

Leather: 1.3mm / 3.25oz vegetable tanned horsehide. Light brown base with medium brown aniline finish. It has a ton of texture and depth of color right out of the box. Will develop beautifully as the surface brown dye wears away to show the lighter brown core.

Lining: Custom smooth cotton rayon throughout.

Hardware: Custom nut buttons for closure, and at front pockets and cuffs.

Fit: A comfortable jacket. Typically take your standard size. If you’re between sizes or want room for heavy layers, I recommend sizing up.
